Uptown is synonymous with the up-and-coming section of 23rd street that has long awaited love and investment from the city and it’s people. The main stretch of what is known as Uptown is between Classen and I-35. Tattoo parlors, unique restaurants, and even an old theater (which is becoming a music venue) give this district it’s intriguing personality. There’s always something to do in Uptown, and the best part is that you can walk to pretty much anything you need. Historic buildings are being restored to house sea food restaurants, gyms, bars, and so much more. Uptown also leans into the part of OKC that houses the Asian district.
