There are certain boxes that a city has to check when you’re looking for a place to build a life and a home. For us, the box that makes Oklahoma City stand out, the box that is absolutely unique to this town is the people. We have creators, innovators, movers and shakers and the irreplaceable quality that marks them all is how much they care about this city. 

Last week, As Told By: OKC was invited to try Halcyon Works, the new co-working space in the Paseo dreamed up by the team of Erin Cooper, Tim Cooper,  John Handy Edwards and Sarah Brune Edwards. The space is designed as a common ground work space for individuals and entrepreneurs who need workspace beyond their kitchen tables. 

As everyone does at the passing of a year, we’ve been considering what 2017 means for us. Last year brought As Told By: OKC more than we could have imagined.

In Part Five of our locals-only shopping guide we’re going to fully admit that our candle has run out of wick and the madness of the holidays has overwhelmed us. So we’re calling it a year.
