Wow, it’s been a busy few months. This time last year we bought a house in Jefferson Park and spent every ounce of our free time investing into our new home. This year, we’ve spent all our time investing into our community. Between organizing Uptown Uncorked and attending every school closure meeting we could, the blog has been a little ignored.

There’s just a whole lot going on, pace yourself and make a plan. While we’re on the subject, make sure and bookmark our curated calendar, to see the stuff we’re excited about. 

Get your Valentine’s Day out of the way, we need to talk schedule. There’s so much happening this week that you’ll likely have to make some painful choices. Here’s what’s on our radar this week:

It’s almost Bunker Club time and other than the will-they, won’t-they, Tower Theatre, this is the biggest waiting game in town. Long story short: they’re not ready to be open yet, but they’re working on it.

While you might not be sold on kimchi (yet), we can all agree that chicken wings and beer are two of the best things in life. Lucky for those of us who love kimchi AND beer AND wings, Chick-N-Beer opens today at 6 p.m. in Uptown 23rd.
