Okay, okay. We’ve been talking about the Sunshine Laundry building for a while now. It’s an incredible building that has a new life thanks to our favorite developers. Now, it’s time to talk about what’s going inside the building.
In our grandfather’s age, the work was to tear down the OKC metro for a city in the sky that never happened. Today, despite mother nature, the work is to save the city and it’s historic and important spaces.
Wow, it’s been a busy few months. This time last year we bought a house in Jefferson Park and spent every ounce of our free time investing into our new home. This year, we’ve spent all our time investing into our community. Between organizing Uptown Uncorked and attending every school closure meeting we could, the blog has been a little ignored.
We love to burn the midnight oil, a task usually fueled by beer. So when Andrew Carrales from Vanessa House Beer Co. stopped by our home to drop off a 4-pack of their new beer, 5th Keg Brown Ale, we were more than thrilled.
While you might not be sold on kimchi (yet), we can all agree that chicken wings and beer are two of the best things in life. Lucky for those of us who love kimchi AND beer AND wings, Chick-N-Beer opens today at 6 p.m. in Uptown 23rd.
